The Doric Board has generously awarded us a grant to promote Mary Symon, Collected Poems, edited by Ian Spring and Fred Freeman. This will enable us to donate the book to selected libraries and schools in Morayshire and the North-east and, when the situation allows, to give talks introducing her work.

'Mary Symon, Collected Poems brings to a wider audience the works of one of the North-east's unjustly forgotten poets. This new edition with its detailed preface and introduction is a tour de force and a wonderful accolade to the works of Mary Symon. The Doric Board is privileged to have been given the opportunity to support it.'
